As a surf instructor always seeking tranquility after the waves, Quinta Da Gandra was a hidden gem nestled in the rolling hills, just a short drive from Paredes de Coura. The ample garden and billiards table provided the perfect balance of relaxation and entertainment, complementing the scenic mountain and garden views from our room. Hosting is a key element in my job, and Isabella's warm welcome and accommodating nature instantly made us feel at home.Although I usually chase the sun, here the unheated pool was a refreshing spot to unwind under the Portuguese skies. Isabela's attention to detail was evident; from the prompt room change when we encountered a shower issue to the thoughtful gesture of a bottle of port awaiting us upon our return from dinner. It's the little touches that truly make a difference in a stay.With Vigo and Viana do Castelo within reach, the Quinta's location was ideal for exploring nearby attractions. The valet parking ensured convenience, and the easy access to public WiFi made sharing our adventures with fellow surf enthusiasts a breeze. Whether traveling solo or with friends, Quinta Da Gandra offers a peaceful retreat with a personal touch that leaves a lasting impression.
